- Generally, I would like to build a good reputation for myself as a designer, with both clients and other designers. I think this is something that is really important, and something that this module has taught me, especially with regards to keeping customer loyalty.
- Work abroad, I am beginning to try and get in contact with design studios abroad, I feel it would be such a great experience and aspire to work overseas, particularly Australia, but really, anywhere would be an adventure that I would make the most of and enjoy.
- I am currently very unsure what area of graphic design I want to go into, initially I had always assumed it would be within type and layout, probably with print in particular, but as I progress through this degree program, I am realising the broad range of areas that I'm interested in.
- I hope to keep progressing as a designer, however, I hope to really advance with my software skills while I still have the freedom and time to learn.
- In particular I am excited to start working with software regarding websites as I feel this is something that will really progress my self promotion as a designer.
- I hope to work in a team when go into a professional environment, I believe that personally I would not enjoy being a freelance designer as I enjoy working in a dynamic team.
- Despite saying this however, I have done some work for friends alone and have enjoyed this so keeping smaller jobs could keep some of my designing more personal.
- Collaborating with other areas of the creative industry is something that interests me, for example working with photographers/artists/etc. would enrich my work and allow another area that I could go into.
- I would really like to get a placement at an editorial company as this is something that I think I'm interested in, however, I would like to find out a lot more about it.
- I want to be proud of my work and to limit the compromises I have to make with regards to time and ethically.
